Whether you’re new to the world of TEFL or you’re looking to increase or add to your TEFL qualifications and experience, CELTA is highly recommended due to its widespread acceptance by employers of English language teachers.
CELTA is so highly regarded due to the great importance that is attached to quality control. This is assured in a number of ways, including Cambridge approval and moderation. Our trainers offer advice on everything from initial decisions on taking the course to how to find a job once you have qualified.

Once we have received your application form, we will then decide whether it is appropriate to proceed to the next stage of the application process.
As preparation for the interview we will ask you to complete a pre-interview task. This will consist of several tasks to help us to ascertain your fluency in spoken and written English and your current knowledge and perception of how English works. These tasks will take approximately 90 minutes to complete. During the interview we will talk about what you should expect on the course in as much detail as possible, ask you to perform a short teaching-related task, discuss the answers to your written pre-interview tasks and allow you the opportunity to ask any questions and/or discuss any concerns you may have. This last part of the pre-interview procedure may be conducted in a group with other applicants. Your team-working and communication skills will also be assessed.
If you are unable to attend a face-to-face interview, we will need to hold a telephone or Skype interview.
